The one thing I like about the holidays is the after the holidays sales. Alloy.com like several other stores had a clearance sale and I pounced. Now that I'm surrounded by financial uncertainty I need all the discounts I can get. Above are the items I received in the mail today. Unfortunately, the last item (Ronson cropped tee) came in the wrong color and its on it way back tomorrow morning. I love African print and the first top has a African inspired feel to it. The second piece (Animal print cardigan) I just had to have cause I don't have any leopard pieces in my closet.

I Never Wear Makeup but.......

I'm getting older and I have come to the realization that it doesn't hurt to beat that face every once in awhile. So I decided today after some intervention from my cousin who did my makeup the day before to go out and purchase some. After walking around the mall passing Sephora (to damn expensive) I stopped in JCPenny's and saw a makeup case that was on sale from $36.00 to $24.99. Inside the case was loads of eyeshadow, lip glosses, blush, mascara, eye liners, lip liners and bronzers. I had definitely hit the jackpot but before I made the purchase I decided to go to Claire's and see what the had to offer but soon found out JCPenny's could not be beat.

Once I got home I gave myself a little makeover and vol-ah!
