 Rachel was so nice to send me these sweetheart earrings along with my other purchases.

 

I'm soo happy right now. Today I went to the post office to pick up my earrings from Rachel Stewart. I found out about her on another website called Black Girls Rock (yes we do) as one of their three designers to watch. I had no intentions to make such an impulsive purchase. As soon as I went to her shop my credit card took over and I found myself wanting to buy everything but I settled for half of everything.

Today was a boring dress day for me. My closet is getting smaller and its getting hard to find things to wear when your low on funds and everything in your closet is years old or to small. I'm trying my best to put outfits together but things are a mess and I don't have enough looks to just throw together. See, when I started this thread I was employed and thought starting a blog about my fashion dairy would be a fun idea but now its become a little bit of a burden. Anyway, today I put on a simple grey tank and black leggings along with a trench jacket and went off to school. The only thing fabulous about my attire was anything from the neck up. Earrings from Forever 21 and head cover from American Apparel. Enough said.

Jewels from Forever 21

Well it looks like a little trip to the mall for essentials turned into an unexpected shopping spree for myself. My main purpose for going to the mall was to buy my sister a graduation card but before I did that I decided to browse around Forever 21 to see if their new plus size line Faith 21 had hit the racks yet. Sadly when I entered the store I saw that the sizes had not changed and only women with no curves were allowed to shop there still. Anyway, I did what all plus size women do at Forever 21 look at accessories like earrings and necklaces. That's when I pulled out my debit card and made a few purchases.

I bought 4 pairs of earrings and a necklace. The 1st pair were silver with fringe chains hanging from a flower that was hanging from white pearl placed in a silver setting. The 2nd was a pair of tear drop shape earrings with black string woven in the middle. The 3rd was a large pair of round earrings with floral designs all around it. Also, there was a pair of dripping black leaves. Lastly, I purchased a simple layered necklace. What do you think?
